On the Wave 1

I painted the human fight against the waves — not only of nature, but also of life.
The surfer represents the form of our inner self when we refuse to give up. When we rise again and again to find balance against all odds.
I worked with my own technique, using rope dipped in materials, bold acrylics, and tools like palette knife, brush, and wax paper to shape the texture. Each wave emerged raw, intense, and sculptural. Behind the dark silhouette of the surfer, I placed light — because I always like a touch of optimism in my work.
