Maria Sarri-Belle, born in Chios, taught painting at the Homerion Cultural Center of Chios for more than twenty years. She has held numerous solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad and has received international recognition for her works. Additionally, she writes children's stories. Her published and staged fairy tales include:
