Portraits are often a puzzle.
Seeing a face even from a photograph, I try to read it well, before I paint it, to get to know it, even to know its character. The chiseled wrinkles,the warm smiles the frowning brows, make me a Pythia who wants to guess their inner world.
I render it on canvas in color, black and white, watercolor , acrylic, or tempera but also oil pastel.
I bring it to life with my paintbrush and bring loved ones together!
