I chose them from among hundreds of stones. Or did they choose me, wishing to stand out and come out of obscurity? When I would find them, I took them in my hands with longing and admiration; they were my treasure!

I searched for them on the mountain tops in the dwarfs, in the valleys, and on the banks of the rivers. I would run and pick them up when they were paving roads before they were destroyed or buried again and lost forever. When they spoiled a small alcove, I even found broken pieces of stalactite and stalagmite!

They were like magnificent Caryatides, carved not by Phidias's hands but by nature itself. I placed them on the roots or trunks of our sacred tree, the Olive. I never changed their fantastic colors or the relief, which was carved for centuries by the wind, the rain, the sea, and the lava in its wake.

I would spend hours deciphering and learning the secrets they had kept for centuries. I painted them only where they guided me, by their relief and my imagination. So each one had its own story to tell me.

The colors with which I painted them, were also natural, sometimes from the earth, sometimes from mud, sometimes from flower pollen, but also dust from colorful quartz, which brings good luck. I also extracted color from the heart of the trees. I mixed gold leaves with mastic oil.

Just as nature has put much energy into sculpting them, my Rock Art gives good energy to the space and anyone who has them around!

the Rock-house of art

With the power of our will, persistence, effort, and love for what expresses us and what we believe in, we can turn even those difficult things we find in life into beautiful and special ones.

For this reason, I am very proud of my Rock Art, firstly because I had never seen anything like them in my whole life, despite many of my travels, and secondly because I feel that they gave me life and joy......
