Freedom

“Freedom” was inspired by a contemporary dance performance that moved me deeply. The movement, the harmony, the grace, and the raw emotion of the dancer captivated me so intensely, I began a whole series of artworks exploring motion.
This piece is one of the most powerful in that series. I used brush, spatula, color ribbons, fine cord, and even a reed to bring the figure to life—literally and symbolically. Through my signature relief technique, the body rises from the canvas, sculptural and alive, capturing both energy and vulnerability.
I want the viewer to feel the message: Freedom is not a privilege—it is an inner right.
This is not just a dancer. She is the soul of every person who dares to leap, who claims their path, their choices, and their truth. This kind of freedom is not political. It is profoundly personal.
