Cultural Harmony

One day, a beautiful girl from Africa gave me a stunning piece of fabric from her homeland and shared stories about life there. I was deeply moved and began searching for images of various tribes across the continent—people in traditional dress, captured in everyday life, adorned in vibrant, colorful garments.
With this piece, I wasn’t just aiming to create something visually striking, but something meaningful. I wanted to express both the beauty and the challenges faced by these people. They live on a continent rich in natural treasures, yet many still suffer from malnutrition. At their feet, I painted hundreds of bubbles—large and small—boiling like a pot about to overflow.
I used vivid, pure colors applied with fingers, palette knife, cotton, and brush. I added texture with string, modeling paste, and mixed media, creating tactile surfaces that spill beyond the canvas...
