Yearning

In a quiet moment of melancholy, when my soul was filled with the verses of a tender poem, this artwork was born. Yearning is a depiction of the inner calm that coexists with hope. A female figure sits facing the sunset, absorbed in her inner world, beside an autumn tree. I worked with intense acrylic orange-yellow colors, sculpting the surface with a palette knife, but also with my palm, allowing my body to become part of the creation. The leaves of the tree are crafted using a coffee spoon. Their outlines are highlighted with gold glass paint tube, illuminating every hope within the darkness.
Despite the melancholic atmosphere, light and expectation prevail in the work – a silent, strong desire for the beautiful things to come.
Drenched in autumn colors
a silhouette leans into memory.
Time does not flow – it breathes.
The leaves whisper secrets
and the sky ignites flames of yearning.
It is not the sadness that remains,
but what has yet to come…
and yet already lives within us.
